Thanks to everyone who came out for the first night of Wrong Wave: Art Rock Believes in Reincarnation, at The Waldorf on Wednesday. The evening featured a set by Neu Balance, followed by collaborations between Stefana Fratila + Ronan Nanning-Watson and Spectrum Interview + Merlyn Chipman, with DJ sets by Aaron Read.

Tonight (Thursday, November 8), we continue with another night of music and artist-musician collaborations at The Waldorf, featuring:

  • Francis Cruz + Jabari Jordan-Walker
  • New Vaders
  • Aquarian Foundation

Doors open at 8, music starts some time after 9. Last night we live-broadcast the sets over Power2012, and hopefully we’ll be able to do that better tonight. Still, since these are visual performances, there’s nothing like being there. Admission is $7 at the door, but if you’re considering coming to see 80(sun) and the launch of the Peace Library at Unit/Pitt (15 E Pender St.) on Friday, you’ll want to buy the $10 festival pass (still a $2 savings over paying at the door both nights). Wrong Wave ends on Saturday, at The Western Front (303 E 8 Ave.).

Here’s a taste of New Vaders:
