It’s time — Wrong Wave: Revenge of the New Puritan is here. The festival kicks off tonight with the screening of Hail the New Puritan, a film by Charles Atlas (including music by The Fall), and short films by Jonathan Wells. It starts at 7.00pm, at Pacific Cinémathèque. Tickets are $11 at the door — or, do the right thing and grab a festival pass for only $15, granting you admission to all four nights of the festival.

Next up: Stack of Moves, a dance project organized by Jen Weih, at Western Front tomorrow (October 25th) at 8.30pm. Join us at UNIT/PITT on Saturday (October 26th) for Orphans and dogs, performances by Mark Szabo and New Moon Poncho, and Scrap Nap, an installation by Yuriko Iga. Finally, the Kensington Gore and White Poppy show at SFU Woodwards on Sunday (October 27th) will draw the festival to a close. Tickets to the last two shows will be $5 at the door, or free with festival passes.

Four days of great events. Don’t miss out! Event info and complete schedule can be found here.
