Re-reading the Riot Act by leannej is the first in a series of new books from UNIT/PITT and Publication Studio Vancouver, emerging from the series Rereading The Riot Act, curated by Anakana Schofield. (The same series won UNIT/PITT a mention in The London Review of Books a few weeks back.)
leannej’s book is a sort of companion piece to the performance she did at the Rereading The Riot Act II cabaret — interwoven stories of the history of protest in Vancouver, played out in the lives of five different people living through five different flashpoints.
