Chris Bose’s book The Apology juxtaposes the artist’s personal writing with excerpts from the Indian act and passages from Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s parliamentary apology to survivors of the Residential Schools system, a system design to eliminate indigenous culture and language in Canada. The publication accompanies Bose’s commissioned project in the Ill Repute series, also titled The Apology.
