Part of Limited Time Library @ Unit/Pitt
Wake up with us before the Vancouver Art Book Fair!
From 9am-2pm we will be serving coffee (and tea!) and have a wide range of standard newspapers, special edition newspapers and artists newsprint works for perusing. We will have the freshest local papers, a selection of archived materials, and related features from the Limited Time Library’s collection.
Get your fill of coffee and current events, and head on over to the VABF!
***Gallery will be closing at 2pm this day, so that we can all get out to the fair***
The Limited Time Library is a curatorial project by Catherine de Montreuil and Abbey Hopkins. Through selective and organized sharing, the library serves as a temporary site for research, study, leisure and sharing of knowledge. Created through a delegated selecting process, overlaps and departures in themes pertaining to the library’s community members emerge in the form of a collection of books. The Limited Time Library encourages the community to come and utilize the reformatted reading room during these extended hours, which are intended for generating knowledge, a spirit of sharing and independent study.
